Competition in the South Korean telecom market is fierce. The market is dominated by former state company SK Telecom and KTF. To stay ahead of the competition, SK develops the mobile telecom brand ‘T’ and asks our agent in Korea, Total Impact, to market this brand.
Design programme for ‘T’-brand
Along witht Total Impact and April Design, Bourne develops for SK Telecom a complete design program for the brand ‘T’. We are responsible for strategic design, Total Impact then designs more than 200 T-World shops in Korea and furnishes according to our guidelines. Our design system forms the basis for all existing and future ‘mobile services’-brands of SK Telecom. This applies primarily to the South Korean market, but also for the expansion into Vietnam and China.
Design guidelines for SK Telecom
In consultation with Total Impact Bourne drafts a set of basic guidelines for using SK Telecom’s T-brand. Besides the use of logo and colour we extensively describe the use of the flexible design element we created, the Ribbon. Partly based on those directives, Total Impact adds guidelines for photography and for a shop-concept.
